Add a Welcoming Warmth and Comfort to Your Living Room With Sofa Pillows, Throws and Other Decorative Accents
If you feel like your living room needs a make-over one thing you can do that doesn't cost a lot is add sofa pillows and decorative throws to the room. These will instantly give your room more color and character. They will also soften the room and give it a more welcoming feel. Try adding a few sofa pillows on each end of your sofa and maybe one decorative accent pillow for each chair. Then drape a throw over your sofa and your living room will have a whole new feel.
When choosing your sofa pillows you'll want to stay with the color scheme and style of your room. This doesn't mean that they have to be the same color as your walls or curtains, but they should complement them. They can stand out in a busy room that already has patterned furniture or drapes, or they can add contrast to a room with neutral colors. Crimson red and indigo sofa pillows would be a striking addition to a room with a white, beige sofa, black or navy sofa.
