For Comfort and Support While Reading, Nothing Works Better than a Reading PillowAnyone who likes to read in bed knows that the hardest part is staying comfortable. A reading pillow can offer the perfect solution. They offer ergonomic support to the lower back, neck and head which makes it easier for you to relax and enjoy your book. A reading pillow can also be used on the floor when watching TV or in a chair or couch; whenever you feel the need for more back support. There are a number of varieties of reading pillows. Most often a reading pillow will be filled with a synthetic poly fill because it offers more support, but they can also be found filled with down or memory foam, to name a few. For those people who are concerned about allergies, hypoallergenic models of reading pillows are also available from many suppliers. The two main styles of reading pillows are a two sectioned pillow that looks similar to a bed pillow and a lounging pillow that has a back and two small arms. The first type of reading pillow is designed to offer support in key places and it is a little longer than the average bed pillow so that your neck and head rest comfortably. The second type, sometimes called a husband pillow, has two arms that hug your body as you relax and give your arms a place to rest. There are often pockets on the sides of the arms to hold your book, glasses or anything else you can think of. A reading pillow offers comfort and allows you to truly enjoy reading, watching TV or just lounging around. See Also: [Bedrest Pillow] [Wedge Pillows] [Orthopedic Pillows] |
