Nasal Pillows - Stop Sleep Related Breathing Problems

If you suffer from Sleep Apnea or other sleep related disorders, you may actually be afraid to sleep. Nasal pillows were developed as part of a system to help people with these disorders to sleep safely. Although other sleep systems are also available, systems that use nasal pillows are much more comfortable to use.

Nasal pillows were developed to help people using a sleep system to be less confined. Instead of sleeping in a full face mask and uncomfortable nasal clips, these people can now use an open mask with pillows. The new visibility the open masks provide allows people with sleeping disorders to read or watch television without worrying about dozing off in the evenings. The pillows rest in front of your nasal passages and deliver oxygen directly into your nose from the mask's tubing.

If you have never used a sleep system with nasal pillows before, you may be concerned that your nasal passages will be irritated by the pillows. However, since, the pillows rest outside of your nostrils, you do not need to build up calluses, the way you do with nasal clips.

Just think, when you are using nasal pillows, you may finally be able to enjoy evening activities, such as watching the late night news, without being worried about nodding off.
